Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase as our backend provider, which employs robust security measures to protect your information.
Third-Party Services
SharedShelf integrates with the following third-party services:
- Open Library - For book metadata (titles, authors, covers)
- Google/Apple Sign-In - For authentication
- Import Services - Optional integrations to import your data from Kindle, Goodreads, Audible, Spotify and Readwise
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they collect.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access - Request a copy of your data
- Correction - Update or correct your information
- Deletion - Delete your account and all associated data
- Export - Export your book list data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
